Brooke is in the bed with Lucas, which turns out to be a dream by Lucas, who is in bed with Chris Keller that turns out to be a dream by Haley, who climbs in bed with Brooke and they begin to make out that turns out to be a dream by Nathan. Brooke and Haley discuss Brooke no picking Lucas and her fashion line as they walk to class. Tim comes up to the cheerleaders wanting to know the results of the boy draft. Tim suggests that the girls take their guy out and pay for the date. Tim finds out he was not drafted. Lucas asks Brooke what time she is picking him up and Rachel tells him that she picked him. Peyton finds Mouth and Mouth tells her he already has plan but she can come along. Deb comes to Karen’s house, to tell Karen about Dan’s new billboard on the side of the highway. They plan to deface his billboard by putting a mustache on his face. Brooke, in her pjs, and Haley, in a sexy dress, discuss their dates when there is a knock at the door, Brooke answers it and it is Chris Keller at the door.

Rachel goes to see Lucas for their date, and Lucas is planning to see Brooke. Rachel says she will trade him with Brooke. Brooke tells Keller that she not going on a date with him and Nathan tells Haley if Brooke is not then they should not either. Haley pulls Brooke aside and threatens her with physical harm if she does not go out with Chris Keller. Lucas and Rachel from a far as the foursome get into the car for their date. Skillz arrives at Bevan’s where they watch “The Notebook”. Mouth takes Peyton to a retirement community to see Mel (Tom Bosley); Mouth reads to him every week. When Mouth enters, he calls him Mouse; when Mel sees Peyton he loses interest in Mouth and gives Peyton a history of him racing. Peyton convinces Mouth to takes Mel out. Walking on the beach, Chris Keller calls it like a strip club; girl down to bikinis, sometimes topless but you cannot touch them. As he walks by a girl he puts a bill down a bikini downs and smacks her behind. When they reach where Nathan and Haley got married, it is under construction for a new development, and they decide to go to the mall.

Karen and Deb go to Dan’s billboard to deface it, and Karen has second thoughts. At the Rivercourt Lucas and Rachel, discuss Brooke being on a date with Chris. Mouth, Mel and Peyton are at a cart racetrack about to race. Bevin gives Skillz a kiss to watch the movie. Deb paints “IS AN ASS” in black under “Dan Scott” on the billboard. When they go to paint the moustache they knock to ladder of the platform into a tree. At the mall after shopping Brooke, confront Nathan about Haley. Chris harasses Haley to make Nathan jealous. Nathan comes over and is about to bludgeon Chris. Brooke and Haley argue and Brooke storms away. As she is leaving, she passes “Suburban Filth” where she sees her designs in the window.

Stuck without a phone they discuss Deb staying with Dan. Karen tells Deb that she has the strength to be independent not alone. Mel is still race as Peyton and Mouth are off the track discussing Mel’s alzitimer's disease. Bevin tries to make out with Skillz and he shuts her down to watch the movie. Chris and Brooke continuously drink to her fashion line. Outside on the balcony, Haley keeps bring up the past and Nathan wanted a date in the present. Rachel offers to play strip basketball with Lucas. After he declines, she uses his shirt to blindfold him, and that if he has meant to be with Brooke he could make a shot blindly. He takes the shot and makes it, when he removes his shirt he finds Rachel naked. Lucas covers her with his shirt and tells her to put her clothes on. Brooke explains that Lucas is the one for her to Chris Keller. Chris goes to use the bathroom. Nathan apologizes for them getting married. Haley tells him about the moment that made her leave the tour, and she takes him to the last place she had planned on their date. After the movie, Bevin suggests she take him home and Skillz wants to cuddle first. Deb and Karen use their clothing to pull the ladder back to them, as they put their clothes back on they decide on to stoop to Dan’s level, and pull off the “IS AN ASS”. Peyton and Mouth return Mel to the home. He tells her that Mel is his grandpa and that Joe is his dad. In his room, Mel tells “Joe” that when he has a son he will be a good man.

Peyton in the car, questions Mouth on why he keeps coming. Mouth explains that His father and grandpa had a falling out, that he will remember his visits and that no one should die alone. Peyton comments that Mel has it good, he does remember his regrets; mouth tells her he would want his regret as long has he has the good times. Haley takes him to the roof of Karen’s café and shows him the prediction box. She wants him to read it and instead he writes his own prediction. Rachel drops Lucas off at Brooke’s as she tries to convince him that she may not be the one. Skillz comes to the rivercourt and tells the guys about his date. They laugh at him for getting “Notebooked”. Dan’s billboard now read “DAN SCOTT” from the Dan’s ad and “FOR ERECTILE DISFUNCTION” from the ad that was under it. Haley replaces to prediction box behind to brick and Nathan gets her one of the purple flowers from their wedding day. Lucas walks in on Brooke and Chris in bed together.
